Marriage Advice – What I Learned In The Coffee Bar Today

Marriage Advice – What I Learned In The Coffee Bar Today

Marriage advice can be gleaned in the most unlikely of places. Take today for example. I was in a coffee bar this morning, doing one of the things that I like to do, watching folk. I was sitting in my favorite table, that’s in the middle corner where I can hear and see tons of folks. Today, I was in the middle of 2 occupied tables, both were couples. Call it eavesdropping but I think it isn’t my fault when these 4 souls voiced noteworthy gestures to be spotted by somebody like me who is doing nothing. This couple from my left is the first one that caught my attention. The girl arrived first yet she was calm and warm when the partner arrived. I heard them exchanging how your day was and even saw them exchanging hugs and kisses.

Marriage Advice – Sweet Nothings

Then they proceeded to their conversation of “sweet nothings”. I was nearly carried off by their sweetness when, a noise distracted my imagination. A person and a girl who are about to occupy the table next to me disagreed about something. I can hear them talking about the way in which the partner can’t make his very own choices when selecting his food, how he wears his shirts and how he applied gel on his hair. The lady continues to talk, but I am not interested to listen anymore. A certain spark came to my mind. I presumed, “Wow, I am caught in the middle of 2 couples, both beginning their first decade of marriage yet do they differ in the way that they deal with life and what message of marriage advice are they communicating.

“What makes this life so easy for the first couple and a bit vicious for another?”, I thought to myself. My mind continued to go until I come up with the following realization. One of the strongest and strong feelings the world has even known is love. Love makes the world go ’round. I’m sure that you agree with me when I say that when you like a person, you have a tendency to see him as a good soul despite his deficiencies.

Marriage Advice – Making Mistakes

When he makes mistake, it is simple for you to appreciate and accept it. You listen with your heart and you help him find solutions to any problem he caused. You do not lose trust in that person. You do not judge. Another thing occurs when you adore somebody. You practice the practice of not giving heartache or hurt your partner’s feelings in front of other people.

You choose your words and let him feel you are on his side. You let him feel that his ideas are very good, that no malicious inclinations of proving to others you’re much better than him. Briefly you give him the respect that he merits. You celebrate in his success and appreciate easy and small thing that he probably did. That’s love and that’s sound marriage advice. Lacking the presence of it, you can see all the issues of the individual, giving you all the arguments to argue and fight every single moment of the day.

This was a wonderful marriage advice insight for me and how communication in a marriage can easily go awry if we are not careful about the way we communicate with each other in a marriage or relationship.
